I have worked at Headlines hair for 25 years.

I trained at Headlines in NVQ L 2&3 Colouring.

I have worked at 2 salons within the company specialising as a technician and have also worked as Team Leader and Admin roles in both the salon and training divisions.

I was a lead trainer for ‘Colour Factory’ which took me to many salons throughout the country and as far afield as Finland.

I first joined the headlines team April 2005, and was an active member of the headlines artistic team which seen me teaming up with schwarzkopf and their academies in Glasgow, London, Barcelona and Amsterdam. I was team leader of Tarlton salon and Kèrastase ambassador and eventually Kèrastase specialist working with the L'Oréal training centre in Manchester. I have now returned to headlines after an exciting 12 years of teaching and running my own salon which had all 5 star reviews on fresha for the past 8 years. 
I have 28 years hairdressing experience and I am as passionate about my industry as I was 28 years ago.
I keep myself upto date with the latest trends in hairdressing and can take care of all the hairdressing services you might require from blow drying to fitting extensions, colouring to perming.

After training in Manchester I worked in my home town for a year before working in Cyprus which gave me experience working with a variety of hair and skin types, textures & tones.

On my return I started work at Headlines as a hairstylist and beauty therapist.

I had the opportunity to develop my career in management, teaching and assessing.

I specialise in all aspects of cutting, styling and hair colouring in both ladies and mens hair. I specialise also in beauty therapy treatments. 

Having a passion for the industry and high standards led me to also work part time for City and Guilds as an external quality consultant in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

I have  worked as a hair colour specialist on dramas such as “Cilla” and have regularly carried out hair and beauty therapy services for Sheridan Smith.

Continual Professional Development is endemic with Headlines and regular opportunities are available to ensure knowledge and skills are up to date including opportunities to attend academies in Manchester London Glasgow Edinburgh Barcelona Paris Amsterdam and Munich.
